Man left with serious injuries following Clarksfield fight

Greater Manchester Police have launched an investigation after a man was left with serious injuries following a fight on a Clarksfield street.
Officers were called to Balfour Street on Tuesday evening after reports of fight breaking out.
When they arrived at the scene they found a man, believed to be in his 40s, had suffered serious injuries.
He was rushed to hospital where he remains.
A cordon was set up surrounding the scene, at around 5pm on Tuesday evening, and remained in place until the early hours of Wednesday morning.
So far there have been no reports of any arrests in connection with the incident.
