Failsworth serious assault - two youths arrested and bailed

A female was assaulted outside Ziggys on Propps Hall Drive in Failsworth

Two male youths have been arrested and bailed in connection with a serious assault on a female in Failsworth.

An investigation is continuing into the incident as the victim continues her recovery from the ordeal.

A post on the Greater Manchester Police Failsworth and Hollinwood Facebook page read: "On Wednesday the 24th October 2018 at approximately 20:30hrs a female was seriously assaulted outside Ziggys on Propps Hall Drive in Failsworth.

"Local Officers have been gathering evidence and supporting the victim and her family.

"Yesterday (Tuesday) two male youths from Failsworth were arrested on suspicion of the assault and have been bailed whilst the investigation continues."

The Police are appealing to the public to assist them and help them bring the offender to justice.
