Five due in court following police swoops

Officers executed warrants in Ashton, Droylsden, Stalybridge, Audenshaw, Beswick, Oldham, Newton Heath and Prestwich in relation to a fatal shooting
Five men have been charged with murder and attempted murder following a shooting in Ashton.
On Tuesday (October 30), officers executed warrants in Ashton, Droylsden, Stalybridge, Audenshaw, Beswick, Oldham, Newton Heath and Prestwich in relation to the fatal shooting.
At around 4.50pm on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, police were called to reports that a man had been shot on Birch Street.
Luke Paul Graham, aged 31, was taken to hospital where he sadly died from his injuries.
Another man in his 20s presented himself at hospital later that day with a gunshot wound to his leg.
He was discharged from hospital following treatment.
The below men have been charged with the murder of Luke Paul Graham and attempted murder of the man in his 20s, and have been remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday):

Connor Cornforth (27) of Wharf Road, Droylsden
Francis Robert Atkinson (28) of Stamford Drive, Stalybridge
Benjamin Dodd (27) of Silfield Close, Beswick
