Failsworth petrol station thefts - men arrested

Police in Tameside have arrested and charged three men in connection with a report of a theft in progress at a residential address on Monday (December 3).

Officers found three men at the scene of the alleged theft in Ashton.

Thirty-three-year old Damon Alan Barnes, of Moorcroft Street in Droylsden, has been charged with two counts of theft and two counts of making off without payment in relation to two reports of paving stones being stolen at a property on Oldham Road in Ashton and also in Romiley, Stockport.

He has also been charged in connection with fuel not being paid for at petrol stations in Failsworth and Ashton.

Thirty-six-year old Luke Wilkinson, of York Road in Droylsden, faces accusations of one count of theft and one count of making off without payment in relation to reports of theft of paving stones in Ashton and fuel not being paid for at a filling station in Failsworth.

Finally, Greater Manchester Police reported 31-year old Nathan Stephen Joseph Killilea, of Abbey Hey Lane in Manchester has been charged with one count of theft, relating to the theft of paving stones from Ashton.
