Man charged after knife-point robberies in Oldham

A man has been charged with a number of offences including armed robbery in Oldham.
27-year old Cameron Bland of no fixed address has been charged with the following offences two counts of criminal damage, two counts of assault, four counts of possession of a bladed article, assault on a police officer, two counts of public order offence, six counts of theft and five counts of robbery.
He appeared at Manchester and Salford Magistrates on Monday 4th November 2019 where he was remanded.
He will reappear at Minshull Street Crown Court on Monday 2nd December 2019.
The charges follow an investigation by Oldham’s Operation Gladiator team into a knife point robbery at McDonalds on Lucas Street on Tuesday 29th October 2019 and another knife point robbery at Co-op, Grotton on Thursday 31st October 2019.
