Oldham Athletic avoided administration today after the court granted a six week adjournment.
The Administration Order had been brought by the owners of Boundary Park, Brassbank, over unpaid debts amounting to almost £600,000.
However, with news of a deal being struck between Brassbank and the clubs owner, Abdallah Lemsagam an adjournment of six weeks was granted as both sides look to continue talks to complete a deal.
It is believe Mr Lemsagam has made an offer of £6.5m to buy Boundary Park from Brassbank which has been accepted by Simon Blitz, Brassbank owner and former Latics owner.
Talks to finalise a deal are now set to continue.
