Jim McMahon has been working remotely
Jim McMahon’s constituency office have started their first full week of working from home, and to get settled into the new way of working held their first team meeting using teleconference software.
Jim said, “It’s really important that we heed the advice and Stay Home during this crisis. And that’s why my constituency office have started doing their bit from home, we’re still here working hard for Oldham West and Royton.”
“We’re just much further apart than usual, thanks to modern technology we can still have regular team meetings and make sure we carry on doing the most for Oldham West and Royton during the coronavirus outbreak.”
“Once we get settled into the flow of this new working environment we should be able to make use of technology to hold our advice surgery with constituents, and re-adding the face-to-face element whilst we practice proper social distancing.”
“We need those who can stay at home to stay at home, our NHS needs us to do our bit to prevent the spread of this virus as much as we can. Follow the advice. Stay at Home, Protect the NHS, Save Lives.”
