Warm-hearted Kad Sharif is certainly doing his bit to help Oldhamers get the better of the dreaded Coronavirus outbreak.

Since the coronavirus took hold and lock-down was enforced, Kad, from Shaw, been delivering free fruit and vegetables to vulnerable people in his local community and NHS key workers.

All he is asking in return is a small donation to help him to continue to help others in the future.

Kad is currently delivering a free fruit offer which includes five green apples, five red apples, five oranges, five pears, one honey dew melon and a bunch of bananas.

Kad said: "This fruit is fresh as it can be and is all free.

"All I ask is a small donation of £2 for delivery in and around Shaw, or any donations towards helping me to continue to keep doing what I'm doing."

Kad is also delivering mixed boxes of fruits, vegetables and salad for anyone who is currently isolating.

"For this there will be a minimum donation of £5 as the price of fresh produce is sky high at present," added Kad.

Local residents can contact Kad via his Facebook page.
