Chadderton car park robbery: Pair remanded

Following a police pursuit, two men were arrested
Two men have been charged after a man was assaulted during a robbery in Oldham.
Hussain Akhtar (aged 31) of Mallow Close, Oldham has been charged with robbery, dangerous driving, racially aggravated assault and common assault.
Rubel Amin (aged 27) of no fixed abode, has been charged with robbery.
They were remanded to appear at Stockport Magistrates’ Court on April 8, 2020, where they were remanded to appear at Manchester Crown Court on May 6, 2020.
At around 5.10pm on Monday April 6, 2020, a man was confronted in the car park of Gateway Retail Park, Chadderton, by two men who demanded the keys to his car.
They assaulted him before stealing a bag from inside his vehicle.
Police arrived and following a short pursuit, two men were arrested.
