Well done the 27 Oasis Oldham 2.6 Challenge heroes!

Oasis Head of Wellbeing Chris Mason set off to complete his challenge at 2.26am!
A total of 27 members of Oasis Oldham school staff all ran a variety of different distances from their own homes and and accumulated over 160 miles for the nationwide 2.6 Challenge.
The total money by the Oasis staff following yesterday's home hero event is still rising, but they have definitely raised over £1,600 for Marie Curie so far.
Head of Wellbeing Chris Mason said: "I've spoke to Lynn at Marie Curie and she has told me that this donation will allow the charity to provide 73 hours of nursing care or eight whole evening shifts.
"We felt the need to get involved with the 2.6 Challenge so that our own charity would benefit our community, but also so that we could show our pupils that in tough times their teachers were still going above and beyond to help others.
"Charity work underpins all of our nine habits at school: patient, forgiving, self control, humble, honest, considerate, hopeful, compassionate and joyful."
