Unprovoked attack - two charged

Police were called to a report that a man had been assaulted during an unprovoked attack on Progress Street in Ashton
Two men have been charged following an assault in Ashton.
Bilal Shah (aged 21) of Uxbridge Street, Ashton, and Mohammed Moradi (aged 21) of Community Street, Ashton, have been charged with section 47 assault.
They have been remanded to appear at Stockport Magistrates’ Court later today (Thursday).
At aound 6.30pm on April 27, 2020 police were called to a report that a man had been assaulted during an unprovoked attack on Progress Street, Ashton.
The victim was taken to hospital as a precaution.
