Police had been called to a report that a paramedic had been assaulted in an ambulance in Ashton
A man has been charged after two emergency workers were assaulted in Ashton.
Connor McHale (aged 20) of Mossley Road, Ashton, is charged with two counts of assaulting an emergency worker.
He appeared at Stockport Magistrates Court yesterday (Tuesday).
He is due to appear at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court on Tuesday, June 9, 2020.
On Monday, May 11, police were called to a report that a paramedic had been assaulted in an ambulance in Ashton.
The paramedic sustained a broken wrist.
Officers attended and, whilst assisting the paramedic in the ambulance, an officer was bit and spat at.
