£7,000 handbag robbery - two boys charged

Officers were called to reports of a robbery on Leywell Road in Blackley
Two boys have been charged in relation to the robbery of a handbag containing £7,000 in Blackley earlier this month.
The boys – aged 16 and 17 and who cannot be named for legal reasons – have been charged with one count of robbery.
They have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court today (Monday).
At around 2.30pm on Sunday, May 10, officers were called to reports of a robbery on Leywell Road in Blackley.
A woman was approached by two people who attempted to drag her out of her car before making off with a handbag containing £7,000.
