Police received reports that two elderly women had been targeted in their own homes by a man purporting to be a gutter cleaner and demanding payment
A man has been charged after two elderly women were targeted in their own homes.
John Ward (aged 25) of Keynshan Road, Manchester, has been charged with burglary and fraud.
He appeared at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on Wednesday (June 10) and was remanded in custody.
He will appear at Manchester Crown Court on Tuesday July 7, 2020.
On Sunday, June 7, 2020, police received reports that two elderly women had been targeted in their own homes by a man purporting to be a gutter cleaner and demanding payment.
