Date published: 18 June 2020

Testing is for local residents with coronavirus symptoms and is by appointment only
People in Oldham who have symptoms of coronavirus will be able to get tested this weekend.
A testing unit will be at the Old Leisure Centre car park on Rock Street from Saturday until Monday.
Testing is only available for local residents.
Those who want to get tested must be displaying symptoms and appointments can be booked online.
Tests are being carried out by appointment only and there is NO drop in service.
The main symptoms of Covid-19 are; a high temperature, a new continuous cough, or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.
A high temperature means you feel hot to the touch on your chest or back - you do not need to measure your temperature.
A new continuous cough means coughing a lot for more than an hour or three or more coughing episodes in 24 hours.
If you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual.
A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste means you have noticed you cannot smell or taste anything or things smell or taste differently to usual.
Appointments can be booked online here.
