Police appeal to trace a man wanted for 17 years

Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace a wanted man, originally from Kabul in Afghanistan.
Mohammed Rasulzai (aged 41) is wanted in connection with an incident of causing death by dangerous driving that took place on Oxford Road in the University area of Manchester on Wednesday, December 18, 2002.
Twenty-three-year-old Simon Collins was taken to hospital, where he sadly died from multiple injuries two days after the collision.
Rasulzai, who has now been sought for 17 years, is also wanted for failing to appear at Manchester Crown Court for this offence on Monday, September 1, 2003.
Rasulzai is believed to be known by the names of Mohammed Habib, Rasulzai Mohammed, or Habib Rasulzai.
He is known to have links to Greater Manchester, West Midlands, and Cambridgeshire.
