Oldham murder attempts - man charged

Jayden Hayes will appear before Stockport Magistrate’s Court tomorrow
A man has been charged for the attempted murder of two women in Oldham.
Jayden Hayes (aged 24) of no fixed abode, has been charged with two counts of attempted murder.
He has been remanded in custody to appear before Stockport Magistrate’s Court tomorrow (Thursday).
The first incident occurred at 6.30pm on Friday, November 1, 2019, when a 61-year-old woman was stabbed on Longfield Crescent in Oldham.
The second incident took place on Wednesday, November 20, 2019.
On this occasion a 71-year-old woman was attacked by a man with a knife in an alleyway off Stoneleigh Street in Derker.
Both women were taken to hospital with serious injuries and have since been discharged.
