30 teenagers were at the party on Friday night.
Greater Manchester Police have reported that they had to break up another house party in Oldham on Friday night (21st August) just hours after the Government announced tighter restrictions on the town.
Officers arrived at the property and found 30 teenagers present, who were all sent on their way.
An adult found at the property was sanctioned and the parents handed a fixed penalty notice.
The incident came less than a day after the Government announced Oldham wouldn’t be moving into a Leicester-style local lockdown but instead would have tighter restrictions placed on the residents including not socialising with people from outside your own household.
In a short statement on Facebook, Greater Manchester Police’s Oldham division said: “Officers attended a house party in Oldham and dispersed 30 teenagers. An adult has been sanctioned and parents issued with a fixed penalty notice.”
No location for the house party has been given.
