Man charged with Manchester murder

Leroy Panton has been charged with the murder of 67-year old Hyacinth Morris

A man has been charged with the murder of a woman in Manchester.

Leroy Panton (aged 40) of Westminster Street, Levenshulme, has been charged with the murder of 67-year old Hyacinth Morris and was due to appear before Manchester City Magistrates Court today (Tuesday).

At around 8:30pm on Thursday, May 7, 2020, police were called to reports of a concern for welfare at an address on Westminster Street, Manchester.

Emergency services attended and Hyacinth was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
