Two high-end vehicles were destroyed in a suspected arson attack at the Saddleworth Business Centre in Delph in the early hours of yesterday (Sunday) morning.
A Land Rover and a Mercedes saloon were both gutted by the blaze, as our pictures reveal.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “At around 4.30am on Sunday, one fire engine from Mossley was called to reports of a vehicle fire in a car park on Huddersfield Road.
“The crew was quickly on the scene and extinguished the fire, which involved two cars, using one hose reel.
"Firefighters were in attendance for around an hour-and-a-half.”
A GMP spokesman said: ‘We were called to the car park of Saddleworth Buisness Centre to reports of a deliberate ignition.
“It is believed one vehicle was set alight and the fire subsequently spread to another vehicle.”
