Oldham man charged in connection with fatal Moston collision

Police were called to reports of a collision on Lightbowne Road
An Oldham man has been charged in connection with a fatal collision in Moston.
Kevin Pryce (aged 45) of Quail Street, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, causing death whilst uninsured, failing to stop/failing to report a road traffic collision and driving otherwise in accordance with a license.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court later today (Wednesday).
At 8.15am on Monday (October 5), police were called to reports of a collision on Lightbowne Road.
The pedestrian – a 14-year-old girl – was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but she has now sadly died.
