Oldham Mountain Rescue Team had an eventful Sunday
As Sunday afternoon was drawing to a close, Oldham Mountain Rescue Team were called by North West Ambulance Service to assist with an unconscious male in the Dovestones area.
Initially the location of the casualty was unknown until a passer-by, who had walked off the hill, met with the Ambulance Crew and a team member and was able to lead them to the casualty.
The casualty was assessed by the paramedics before being loaded onto a team stretcher for a carry across a stream to the ambulance.
15 personnel were involved for 1 hour.
