Yellow weather warning in place for Oldham
Date published: 29 October 2020

Heavy rain is forecast for the next four days
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rain over the next four days in Oldham (Thursday 29th Oct -Sunday 1st Nov).
There's a risk of flooding to the areas which would lead to disruption on the roads and other transport like trams, buses and trains.
Spray on the roads will be the main cause of the difficult driving onditions and possible road closures.
Met Office also say there could be a danger to life due to the fast flowing or deep floodwater.
Currently they're predicting the majority of the wet weather will come today, with heavy rain forecast throughout the day with only a few hours of dryness.
The warning remains in place for tomorrow despite the forecast looking dry for the day.
