Man charged with rape and sexual assault

Police were called to reports a woman in her late-teens was raped in a field off of New Allen Street in Manchester
A man has been charged with the rape of a woman in a field in Manchester in August earlier this year.
Zachary Benn (aged 19), of Ringstead Drive, Manchester, has been charged with one count of: rape; sexual assault; blackmail; robbery; and possession of a bladed article.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court later today (Monday).
Police were called at around 8.25pm on Sunday, August 9, 2020 to reports a woman in her late-teens was raped in a field off of New Allen Street in Manchester.
