Man charged in connection with Middleton sexual assault

A man has been charged in connection with a sexual assault in Middleton.

Darren Roache (aged 34), of no fixed abode, has been charged with sexual assault and remanded in custody.

He is scheduled to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court today (Monday).  

At around 10.35pm on Sunday, October 25, police received a report that a woman had been sexually assaulted in an alleyway off Grimshaw Lane in Middleton.
