Angels descend on Delph for Christmas
Date published: 15 December 2020
Christmas angels have arrived
Christmas Angels have arrived in the Saddleworth village of Delph.
And villagers are being encouraged to take the lovingly, hand-knitted brightly coloured host home as a touching reminder of Christmas.
Members of the congregations of St Thomas’s and the Methodist churches and friends, the Piecemakers, Holland Close residents, the sewing bees of Carry on Delph have all contributed to making the heavenly choir.
And the village’s legendary Christmas Elves are distributing the angels to key points around the village.
