Mayor's gift to the League of Friends

Oldham’s big-hearted Mayor Cllr Ginny Alexander has donated £300 to the stalwart members of the League Of Friends of Royal Oldham Hospital, who raise funds by organising various events for equipment, large or small, for the hospital wards.
The Mayor said: “They usually meet on the first Monday of every month at the hospital at 7pm."
