Snow returns to Oldham!
Date published: 25 January 2021

Snow is back over Oldham Edge this morning
The sight of snow, ice and considerable frost returned to Oldham overnight, and will have no doubt caused a headache or two for those needing to travel to work.
Snow showers moved through the region during the early hours of this morning, so there was another covering for many as they rose and looked out of their windows.
Conditions are set to ease slightly, however, as this week progresses.
Following this morning’s scattered wintry showers and widespread frost early on, it is likely to be less cold as the day goes on, with a few sunny spells helping to lift the temperature to 5°C.
Tomorrow (Tuesday) looks likely to be cloudy and cold with low cloud and mist.
Some light rain is predicted for later in the day, and maybe even some light snow showers for some as the temperature reaches 4°C.
It does look as though Wednesday will bring milder and more cloudy conditions, with rain potentially moving in from the north east.
Stay wrapped up everyone!
