Man charged following drug raids

Warrants were executed at addresses in Failsworth, Newton Heath, and the Northern Quarter area of the city centre
A man has been charged after police investigating drugs supply executed warrants in Failsworth, Newton Heath and city centre Manchester.
Jamie Upton (aged 23) of Crammond Close, Newton Heath, has been charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, namely heroin and cocaine.
He appeared at Manchester Magistrates' Court on Saturday (March 6), where he was remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Crown Court, Crown Square on April 1, 2021.
On Friday (March 5) warrants were executed at addresses in Failsworth, Newton Heath, and the Northern Quarter area as part of an operation dedicated to disrupting drugs supply.
