James Scott Accountants have today been announced as an Associate sponsor of Mahdlo’s 3 Peaks of Saddleworth which is taking place on Saturday 3rd July.

Matthew Taylor, Partner, from the Middleton based firm told us, “This will be our 4th year taking part and it’s a great way to bring our team together, out of the office, raising funds for a local charity working with young people in Oldham”

Claire Crossfield. Fundraising Manager added, "We really are grateful for the support of James Scott.

"The 3 Peaks is a fantastic event and we’re proud they’ve chosen to sponsor it.

"As a charity we rely on businesses and local community to help us raise the £215,000 needed this year. We really can’t thank them enough.“

The 3 Peaks of Saddleworth has been running since 2016, has taken a firm spot as one of the charity’s largest annual fundraising events, growing in popularity year on year.

The walk, which is around 15 miles, will take on local landmarks Indian’s Head, Pots and Pans and Wharmton Hill. The route is challenging, but achievable, and walkers are rewarded by some incredible views of Oldham and beyond.

It’s just £20 to enter and Mahdlo are asking that participants commit to raising a minimum of £30.

In return for signing up, walkers will receive a commemorative t-shirt, medal, breakfast, picnic, refreshments along the route, and post-walk food at The Royal George.

You will also receive support for your fundraising efforts, including help with setting up your fundraising page, social media banners and more.

If you would like to register for the event or have any questions, please contact Claire by emailing or calling 0161 624 0111.
