Officers from GMP's Serious and Organised Crime Unit conducted searches at an address in Shaw
Police have recovered over a kilo of what is believed to be cocaine and approximately £20,000 cash from an address in Shaw.
Officers from GMP's Serious and Organised Crime Unit conducted searches at an address earlier this week.
Two females, aged 26 and 31-years-old, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
Detective Chief Inspector Joe Harrop for Greater Manchester Police's Economic Crime Section said: "This result is a significant success in our efforts to clamp down on organised crime, and it's achieved through successful collaborative work across our teams.
"Not only has this removed £50,000 worth of drugs from our streets, we've also seized a significant amount of money, preventing this from being used again for criminal purposes."
