Date published: 29 April 2021

The Dr Kershaw's Hospice charity shop in Oldham town centre has closed.

The news was announced on social media earlier today (Thursday).

A post on the Dr Kershaw's Twitter page read: "Unfortunately, due to the financial impact that Covid has had, our Oldham charity shop based in Oldham town centre will be closing permanently with immediate effect.

"We would like to say a huge thank you to Laura, our Oldham shop manager, and her team of dedicated volunteers who will continue to support the Hospice at our other stores.

"We would also like to extend our thanks to our loyal supporters who have supported our Oldham shop and we hope that you will continue to support the Hospice at our Shaw, Royton and Lees stores."

Information on the other Dr Kershaw's shops can be found here
