A police vehicle was damaged on Wednesday night in Derker
An investigation is continuing after a police car was reportedly rammed 'several times' during an incident in Derker.
A post on the GMP Oldham Central Facebook page read: "On Wednesday evening there was an incident in the Derker area whereby a police vehicle was damaged due to a male deliberately driving into it several times.
"On Thursday evening officers from the St James' and Waterhead Neighbourhood Team arrested a male on suspicion of criminal damage and dangerous driving in relation to this matter.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
