Man arrested following jewellery store burglary

A man has been arrested in connection with a series of burglaries at shops in Manchester and Salford in May 2021.

The 42-year-old is being questioned on suspicion of burglary and remains in custody for questioning.

Among the incidents being investigated is a burglary at Ernest Jones jewellers on St Ann Street in Manchester city centre on Wednesday, May 5, 2021.

Mays Pawnbrokers and Jewellers, Salford Shopping Centre Precinct, on Monday, May 3, 2021

Mulberry, The Avenue, Manchester city centre, on Wednesday, May 12, 2021

Property stolen from the four burglaries is valued at almost £100,000.
