Driver of abandoned car being sought following police pursuit in Moorside

Oldham police officers were involved in a pursuit this morning (Monday) which ended with a car being abandoned in Moorside, and the driver then fleeing.
However, two passengers were detained immediately following the incident.
A post on the GMP Oldham Central Facebook page read: "This morning PC Battye from the Waterhead neighbourhood team was involved in a short pursuit in the Moorside area of Oldham.
"This resulted in the vehicle being abandoned with the driver making off on foot.
"Two passengers were detained at the scene.
"The vehicle was seized and enquiries are ongoing in relation to the driver."
