It's a beautiful, cloudless scene looking over Oldham Edge this morning
It's another hot morning out there across Oldham, with temperatures seemingly soaring by the hour.
Many will have endured a difficult night trying to sleep, as temperatures remained at around the 16 degree mark throughout.
Today (Tuesday) the temperature is set to hover around the 28 degree mark by the early to mid-afternoon.
Again it will still be around 16 degrees tonight, so another uncomfortable night could beckon for many.
A little more widely, it will stay hot and sunny today and tomorrow. with a very low risk of an isolated storm brewing across the southern Pennines or Peak District as the heatwave continues.
Brace yourselves, however.
The heat looks set to increase even further tomorrow (Wednesday) and Thursday, when temperatures look set to rise to around 30 and 31 degrees repsectively.
Thankfully for many, Friday looks a little cooler with the risk of a shower.
Then the weekend will likely see a thundery breakdown.
