Silver Band's 'Brass on the Grass' proves a big hit

A Sunday afternoon brass band concert in a Saddleworth village really lived up to its name.
That's because a raffle at the “Brass on the Grass” free concert by Dobcross Silver Band yesterday raised £341 for band funds.
Scores of villagers turned out to watch the performance in the bright Summer sunshine.
