We're not sure what Mike Tyson the ferocious former boxer would make of these giant sunflowers, but Mike Tyson the gardening fanatic from Failsworth has certainly produced a champion effort growing these in his garden.

Mike has grown a number of massive 10 foot sunflowers and is mightily proud of his efforts.

Mike's grandaughter Olivia told us: "Over lockdown he gave his garden a makeover because he and my Nana couldn’t go out.

"He built a greenhouse and a veg patch.

"This year he grew the sunflowers which are ten foot at the moment, and still growing!"
