Oldham Council has been praised for its dazzling floral meadows display in Grotton Park.
One Social medía post read: “We have just taken a walk in Grotton Park.
"Enormous congratulations to Oldham Council for the stunning wild flower meadow they planted earlier this year.
"This is so good for the environment - think bees - and it is definitely good for the soul.
"Thank you for creating this area of beauty. It is spectacular.“
An Oldham Council spokesperson said: “Our gardeners use an express summer mix, which is a largely annual mix.
"They also add an extra percentage of field poppy seeds.
"They intend on adding perennial seeds in the next round of sowing.”
