Man sought following 'shocking' rape incident

Officers investigating an attempt rape of a 57-year-old woman that happened at an address on Woodfield Road in Crumpsall in May 2021 have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the crime.
Detective Constable Qadir Hussain, of GMP's City of Manchester district, said: "This was a shocking incident which has left a vulnerable woman feeling extremely frightened and fearful, and understandably so.
"Since this offence occurred, officers have been conducting a thorough investigation to find the man responsible, including forensic analysis and CCTV enquiries.
"As a result of these enquiries, police are now able to release an image of a man they want to speak to in connection to this crime."
