Said the Mayor: “Saddleworth Show really came back with a bang. There was a great celebratory atmosphere with mainly warm, fine weather.
"After many months of Covid restrictions and cancellations, all thanks and credit are due to Oldham Metro and Saddleworth Rotary Club who've worked extremely hard to put on this impressive event. It was greatly enjoyed.
"I visited as many stalls and tents as possible and was really impressed by the range and variety of charities and organisations represented as well as fun activities and entertainment for families and children.
"Not least of these were the very popular annual duck race and dog show. I had the pleasure of drawing the tickets for the Saddleworth Mountain Rescue Team raffle too.
"It was a thoroughly enjoyable event with something for everyone." she added.
