Police officers have issued an appeal for witnesses after a man was struck by a car in Lees over the weekend.
Police were called to Hartshead Street in Lees just after 7pm on Saturday night, following reports a man had been hit by a car.
Emergency services attended and found a 32-year-old man had suffered serious injuries, and was taken to hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition.
Officers are investigating to determine the exact circumstances surrounding this incident, and are keen to hear from anyone who might have CCTV or DashCam footage.
