Dangerous driver scarpers after dumping car in Lydgate

An investigation is continuing after a dangerous driver ran from a car in Lydgate on Saturday.
A post on the Greater Manchester Police Saddleworth and Lees Facebook page on Saturday night read: "A vehicle that was seen being driven dangerously on Uppermill High Street by police at tea time has been recovered in Lydgate after a male was seen smashing it up before making off towards Grotton and out of view."
