A 52-year-old man has been arrested after a stabbing incident in Werneth.
Police were called to Oxford Street on Tuesday evening after reports that a man had been stabbed.
A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A man, aged 52, was later located by police and arrested on suspicion of assault. He remains in police custody for questioning.
Enquiries are ongoing.
