Oldham police officer charged with theft

The officer has been suspended
A serving Greater Manchester Police officer has been charged with theft.
PC Edward Ballantyne-Rowland, who works in GMP's Oldham district, has been charged with three counts of theft relating to incidents in October-December 2020 and has been bailed to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on 18 November 2021.
PC Ballantyne-Rowland, 24, remains suspended from duty pending the outcome of the criminal proceedings.
