A 21-year-old from Failsworth is celebrating after winning a competition in which she paid just £15.29 for a holiday to Crete.
Coral Prescott, from Failsworth, successfully bid on a 5-star Indulgent Escape holiday with Jet2holidays through the tour operator’s ‘Bid for a Break’ campaign, seeing her snap up a luxury holiday to Crete for just £15.29.
The 21-year-old was told that after placing her bid of £15.29, she was the only user to bid that amount on the holiday. The amount was the lowest, meaning she had entered the lowest unique bid and bought the seven-night Indulgent Escape for two adults to the Stella Island Luxury Resort & Spa in Crete for that same price.
The competition celebrates the tenth anniversary of the "Indulgent Escapes" brand of luxury holidays.
Coral says the win came at just the right time: "It will be mine and my boyfriend’s two-year anniversary next year, so we are very much looking forward to marking the special occasion on holiday in Crete. I’d urge everyone to get involved and place their bid because it could be you jetting off next!"
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2holidays, said: “In celebration of our 10th anniversary for Indulgent Escapes, we are giving away some very special holidays as part of our ‘Bid for a Break’ campaign – two 5-star luxury getaways. We would like to congratulate Coral for successfully bidding for our first Indulgent Escape and hope she has a fantastic stay in Crete.”
The competition remains open on the Jet2holidays website.
