Man charged with attempted murder after a car hits a pedestrian in Royton

A man from Oldham has been charged following a collision in Royton in which a pedestrian was critically injured
Adam Dixon, 26, of Overdale Close, Oldham, has been charged with attempt murder.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Tameside Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
It follows an incident on Friday (29 October) evening on Dorchester Drive, Royton, where there had been a collision between a car and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian - a man in his 40s - was taken to hospital with injuries. He remains in a critical but stable condition.
Police believe this to be an isolated incident.
