The officer has been suspended
A Greater Manchester Police officer has been charged with making an indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child.
PC Lee Ashcroft, 38, who works in GMP's Transport Unit, was arrested on 12 October 2020 and has remained suspended since that date.
He will appear at Tameside Magistrates' Court on 16 December 2021.
