Oldham’s rising star, who trains at Manchester Stagebox, is appearing on screens nationwide as Cody in Ted’s Top Ten on CITV and ITV, and Wesley, in On the Edge: Superdad on Channel 4.
The episode ‘Superdad’, part of Channel 4’s On the Edge series, sees dad Keon (Martin McCann) take son Wesley on a road trip, but as Keon is supposed to be in a psychiatric hospital, his lies soon start to unravel.
Ted’s Top Ten sees Ted (Jake Fitzgerald) battling the challenges of a new stepfamily, new school and his own poor decisions as he tackles life’s problems one top ten list at a time supported by his friends, including Cody, played by Obasohan.
Joseph trains with award-winning theatre, TV and film training programme Stagebox at its Manchester base and is also represented by Stagebox Management.
Since his successful audition for Stagebox back in 2019, Joseph made his debut in professional screen roles as Isaac Daventry in BBC Doctors.

Joseph Obasohan follows a long line of Stagebox stars on both stage and screen, from Matthew Illesley who played young Elton John in the biopic 'Rocketman' and starred in the new Guy Ritchie feature 'The Wrath of Man', to Olivia Brooks who appeared in 'CATS The Movie' and multiple Stageboxers who perform in the upcoming 'MATILDA' Film.
Additionally Amira Macey Michael and Eloise Groom dazzle in NETFLIX shows as the voice of ‘Dink’ in new Netflix animation ‘Robin Robin’ and ‘Sarah’ in Sex Education respectively!
