Date published: 21 January 2022

Mahdlo Youth Zone have announced Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham will be a Business Breakfast guest in March.

Mr Burnham will be interviewed by Oldham rugby legend and former Mahdlo Chairman, Terry Flanigan MBE and is expected to discuss issues affecting Greater Manchester and Oldham.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to submit questions to the Mayor.

Advanced booking for the event is essential, with tickets costing £5 - free for Mahdlo patrons - and includes breakfast and refreshments.

Lucy Lees, CEO at Mahdlo says she's looking forward to the visit.

"We’re looking forward to welcoming Andy Burnham back to Mahdlo and are really grateful for him taking the time out of his schedule to answer questions from the Oldham Business Community.

"It’s also a wonderful opportunity to thank Oldham’s businesses for their ongoing support for the charity as we begin our 10th Birthday celebrations”.

Andy Burnham said: "I am looking forward to being the next Business Breakfast speaker at Mahdlo Youth Zone in Oldham.

"It’s really important that voices from people living and working across Greater Manchester are heard, and Mahdlo holding these impactful events gives people just such a platform to hear about the work we are doing, and question me about the Mayoralty and the future of our great city-region."

The Business Breakfast is being held on Wednesday 2nd March 2022 between 8:30am and 10:00am.

Tickets are available here.
